We held our annual Fishing Derby today at Signature HealthCARE at North Hardin Rehab & Wellness Center. We have an amazing partnership with them! They provided the hotdogs, as well as grilling them up!
Debra Heighter and her nephews brought the kids games! Diane from the North Hardin Lions Club served up much needed shaved ice on the warm day! Silverleaf Sexual Trauma Recovery Services, Parks and Rec, and the Radcliff Stormwater Guys set up tables. The VFW Post 10281 gave us a donation of $400!!! Tonia Freeman with Toys for Tots gave us the prizes used for the raffle!
We had 36 kids who caught fish! There were tons more trying!
Joey Halchishick won the trophy for Most Fish Caught, coming in at 14 fish!! He found a honey hole for sure!
Lilly Weed won the trophy for Biggest Fish, with a whopping 9 inch fish!
